Brief Description
ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
Two or four three-dimensional (3D), ground mounted, weather resistant entryway
art, with a sponsors’ recognition plaque (not affixed to art), to be installed at two
intersections: (1) Church Street & Main Street and (2) Adams Street & Market
Street. Upon payment, the winning design copyright will belong to Cathedral
District-Jax, Inc.
ARTIST SERVICES - The following activities will be required:
● Proposal Development
● Final Design Presentation
● Coordination with CDJ Team
● Fabrication, Delivery, and Installation
● Photographic Documentation
● Maintenance for up to 12 months (negotiable)
SITE LOCATION DESCRIPTION
The intersection of Church St. & Main St. (east side of Main St.) is currently
surrounded by parking lots and is in view of the Basilica of The Immaculate
Conception and the spire of the First Presbyterian Church. These parking lots have
been purchased and concept designs are underway to develop residential and
commercial properties. The intersection of Adams St. & Market St. (north side of
Adams St.) is surrounded by commercial buildings and a parking garage. See map
