Overview

“Interlock”, 4′ H x 4′ W x 2.5′ D, stainless steel, powder coated red. It was originally shown in Lake Oswego, OR and then purchased for a plaza on Bainbridge Island, WA.

Goals

This sculpture is sited in a plaza in downtown Bainbridge Island, WA. The person who purchased this piece owns the adjoining buildings and sought to beautify the plaza with this sculpture, seating, and plantings.

Process

I worked with the CAD person who created a pattern for the sculpture, the fabricator, the site preparation design, and the installation planning and supervision.

Additional Information

"Interlock" is a sculpture based on a square shape that continues to curve around and intersects with itself.
