Overview
“Make it belong” is a street-level storefront window installation at the Amazon HQ in the old Lord & Taylor building, off Fifth Avenue, NYC. The work was on view for several months in the fall of 2023 alongside installations by Deborah Zlotsky and Rachel Urkowitz. The temporary commissions were awarded by NINE dot ARTS.
Goals
The goal was to activate the public facing storefront window bays of the JFK27 building space through art installation.
Process
I worked closely with the art consultant to create a bold installation that would be eye-catching for pedestrians passing the old, former department store.
