Overview
The Fashion District of NYC commissioned me to design and illustrate banners to be hung in the district. The banners featured some of the people one sees in The Fashion District: Actors, servers, business people, IT folks, art students, models, shoppers and fashion designers.
Goals
The goal of this commission was to celebrate and raise awareness about all of the different types of people who work in and pass through The Fashion District of NYC daily.
Process
This project was a joy for me! I lived close to The Fashion District and worked for a costume jewelry designer in the district so this project was very close to my heart.
Additional Information
The banners that I designed and illustrated for The Fashion District of New York City were beloved and remained hanging up for many years, long after the original planned term.
